We will set up a time to meet, preferably at your home, where we will discuss your plans, including the reasons you want to sell your home, the time frame, and other issues that might be important and relevant to the sale. In more than one occasion I have advised clients to delay the sale of their home or not sell at all.
But let’s assume that you want to sell right away. We will take a tour of your home to determine its condition, identify the strong selling points and make note of any items that might need to be repaired. Some properties need a lot of work done before they are listed while others can be listed as they are. And of course some owners are willing to do more work to prepare their home for sale, while others prefer to sell it in the condition it is.
