In our initial meeting the primary goal is to get acquainted. I need to understand your needs and you need to know more about how I work, and feel comfortable with me. I think it is important to feel comfortable with the person you will trust to walk you through a home purchase.
We will go over the home buying process, and have a frank conversation about any concerns you have about the transaction. We will also discuss financing options, which is one of the most important elements in your preparation to buy a home.
We will also be discussing the buyer-agency agreement, which is perhaps the most important step, which you should know and understand. We will not be signing a buyer-agency agreement during our initial meeting, as it is important to me that you get to know me before enlisting my help.
You will also receive a set of documents to review, so you can be familiar with the various forms you will come across later on. I will also provide you referrals to good lenders, so that you can start the pre-approval process.
